When we envisioned this show, we hoped that we would be able to show a wide variety of makes, models, and styles of bikes. Thank you to everyone that submitted bikes for helping to meet this vision. We're excited about seeing these bikes in person and sharing our excitement for vintage and classic motorcycles.

Nick Shanahan playing live!

Local musician and Chattanooga Motorcycle Collective member Nick Shanahan will be officially releasing his new album "Hello, Heartache, Welcome Home" at the show. Nick will be playing from 7 - 8 pm. To check out his music, visit http://nickshanahan.bandcamp.com/releases and like his page on Facebook.

Pinstriping by Chastin Brand

Good friend and master pinstriper/sign writer/tattooist Chastin Brand will be set up to lay paint on stuff at the show - bring your helmet, tank, tool box, random odds and ends to have some custom pinstriping or lettering by Chastin.

Check out some of his previous work at http://www.pinheadlounge.com/chastin or on instagram (@chastinbrand).

Bike submissions have closed

Thank you to everyone that submitted bikes for the show. The submissions are now closed, and we have a full show of fantastic and interesting motorcycles. I will post a sneak peak shortly, but now we look forward to putting together the history of each and getting ready for the show!

Thanks again everyone!

Dedicated CB section of the show

We have so many people stop at the shop after seeing one of the many Honda CBs that we usually have sitting around to talk about the fact that their first bike was a CB of some size or that they remembered their dad or another relative having one.

They remain popular bikes, and we have serviced quite a few and built custom motorcycles from some very rough original bikes.

Given the number of submissions that we received for Honda CBs, we've decided to have a special section of vintage stock Honda CBs, ranging in size from small to large. After all, you meet the nicest people on a Honda!

Currently, we have:
CB175
CB350
CB450
CB500
CB750

To help round out the line-up, we'd love to have a CB100/125 and a CB650, preferably with few modifications. It does not have to be show quality - we enjoy bikes with character as much as we love beautifully restored bikes.

If you have one or know of someone that has one that would work well for the show, shoot us an email at relicmotovintageshow@gmail.com

Clarifications on the show

Just wanted to clarify a few things that people have been asking:

- there is no fee for bikes to be in the show
- there is no official judging
- we will have a People's Choice award

We're organizing the show because we love old bikes and want to share some of the fantastic local bikes with everyone!

Bike submissions so far

We're enjoying seeing the bikes and hearing their stories. We've had submissions with bikes with one owner from new (1968) and saving something literally from a big junk hole in the backyard.

Just to reiterate that we are not looking for show quality bikes per se but instead bikes with interesting stories, unusual bikes, stuff you wouldn't see everyday. We hear about all of these fantastic motorcycles hiding in garages, basements, or even living rooms, and we would like to pull some of those out in the light of day for other motorcycle enthusiasts or potential enthusiasts to enjoy.

A sample of what we've seen in the emails so far:
A few Honda CBs
BSA
Gilera
Famous James
Triumph flat tracker
Moto Guzzi
Ducatis
Yamaha
Kawasaki
Harley Davidson flat trackers

Looking forward to more emails! It's free for motorcycles to be included in the show.
